Chamber Lunch is a Christmas Cracker
Around 50 guests attended the recent Dunbartonshire Chamber Christmas Lunch in the stylish surroundings of Boclair House in Bearsden.
Special guest speaker, former-Glasgow Warriors and Scotland captain, Al Kellock, was very well received when he shared some of his experiences with the Dunbartonshire businessmen and businesswomen in attendance. Kellock also recently became part of the Dunbartonshire business community himself following the opening of Finsbay Café-Bar-Restaurant in Milngavie in which he is a partner.
The fundraising raffle was also a great success generating almost £700 for Women’s Aid services in Dunbartonshire.
Damon Scott, Chief Executive of the Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce, was delighted with the event: “Boclair House was an excellent high-end venue that is ideal for events of this kind. We had very good feedback about the venue, service and food. Al was an excellent speaker and a lot of his experiences had a real relevance for the businesses represented. The afternoon was topped off with generous donations to our raffle so thanks must go to both the guests and to those companies who supported our fundraising efforts.”
Final details are being made for another prestige Chamber of Commerce event, a Burns-themed evening, at the 5 Star Cameron House Hotel, Loch Lomond on Thursday 26th January.

Why Join the Chamber
Chamber membership can save you hundreds or more each year for just a few pence a day. Have a look at some of the benefits of being a chamber member.
I would highly recommend chamber membership to any Dunbartonshire business. The chamber works hard to make connections and generate profile for its members and SHBT have enjoyed a number of benefits over the years.
