Dunbartonshire Companies set to Brew Up Business Again!

Dunbartonshire Businesses will benefit from a series of new networking events organised by Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce.

Following the success of the collaborative Cyber Crime event with Business Gateway East Dunbartonshire and FSB and the networking event at Strathleven House with SHBT and FSB the chamber has organised a series of similar events over the coming months.

Presented under the banner of Brewing Up Business, the next event takes place on Wednesday 30 November at Milngavie Enterprise Centre where guests will hear from Philip Briscoe of Clydebank-based European Circuits. Philip will provide an insight into how his company built valuable connections using social media to generate business both in the UK and internationally. The presentation will be followed by an informal and fun networking session that will help guest businesses to connect with each other on the day.

Chamber Chief Executive, Damon Scott, thinks the event offers an alternative take on social media: “Social media is becoming such an important communication channel these days that most businesses cannot afford to ignore it. The challenge for most is finding the time so European Circuit’s “real-business” experiences will help show that it can be managed successfully in-house using existing resources.”

We have teamed up with Business Gateway East Dunbartonshire to organise this FREE event that will be of benefit to all businesses. We are aiming to keep chamber events as accessible as we can by making as many as possible free to attend through collaboration and sponsorship.”

Benefits that businesses will be able to take from the event will include Best Practice, Increased Productivity and Growth.

Brewing Up Business Social Networking Lunch takes place at Milngavie Enterprise Centre on Wednesday 30th November at 12.30pm and is FREE to attend. To book your place email [email protected] or phone (0)141 280 0272.
