CHRISTMAS MESSAGE FROM DAMON SCOTT, DCC CEO
On behalf of all of us at Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce I would like to wish our members and all businesses in Dunbartonshire a Very Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year.
The Chamber has enjoyed a really exciting 2018 with fantastic support from our members, partners and our other wonderful businesses in Dunbartonshire.
This year we built on our “Dunbartonshire Women in Business” initiative to provide more support and networking opportunities as well as rolling out our successful Business Breakfast Club format to more locations in a busy year of events.
We also continued to build our partnership with the Armed Forces when we became the first Chamber in the UK to sign the Armed Forces Covenant along with all our Directors and their associated businesses and were subsequently awarded the Armed Forces ERS Silver Award in recognition of our work. More recently we launched “ChamberFORCE” which embeds this relationship further and will provide a platform for us to put in place some exciting plans including setting up an Armed Forces Business Forum and a series of Business Engagement Events.
The Scottish Government has just committed £2m for Chambers to support International Trade and we are already working hard to look at ways we can support Dunbartonshire businesses to realise their exporting potential.
Brexit and an unpredictable global economy continue to create uncertainty for business which makes it even more important for businesses to be part of the chamber network to access the valuable support and connections we offer to the Dunbartonshire business community.
If you would like to find out more about becoming a member of the chamber email [email protected] or phone 0141 280 0272.
Season’s greetings and Best Wishes from your Chamber!

Why Join the Chamber
Chamber membership can save you hundreds or more each year for just a few pence a day. Have a look at some of the benefits of being a chamber member.
I would highly recommend chamber membership to any Dunbartonshire business. The chamber works hard to make connections and generate profile for its members and SHBT have enjoyed a number of benefits over the years.
