LOVES LOCAL BUSINESS CLUB KICKS OFF AT DUMBARTON FC
An exciting new networking event has been created to bring local businesses together in West Dunbartonshire.
Dumbarton Football Club, Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce and Rock You Events have come together with the support of a host of other local partners to establish an exciting new Business Networking Group.
The Dumbarton Loves Local Business Club is free to all businesses and will take place on a monthly basis at Dumbarton Football Club. Under the “Loves Local” banner the aim is to bring local businesses together to connect, share, support, build relationships and encourage members to #ChooseLocal.
A launch event will take place on Thursday 29th September at 6pm at Dumbarton FC Stadium where guests will be able to find out more as well as enjoying free entertainment and a buffet sponsored by local company, You’ll Love Our Home Bakes.
Neil McKay, Chair of Dumbarton FC said: “Dumbarton Football Club is delighted to host the launch of the Loves Local Business Club event along with our event partner, Rock You Events and Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce.
“We are keen to support business, connect with a wider network as well as raising awareness about some of the fantastic work we do here at the club. We are already backing the Loves Local campaign which aims to support local businesses so this new event is an ideal way to build on that.”
Damon Scott, Chief Executive, Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce said: “This new event offers a really important way of businesses building relationships and supporting each other. It is also a great opportunity for businesses to connect with a range of partners that can help add a huge amount of value to help them in their development.”
Jim Smart of Rock You Events added: “I am really looking forward to the evening. We were keen to get involved to showcase the fantastic facilities at Dumbarton Football Club as well as bringing some of the local businesses together. We wanted to provide an informal and relaxed event both to help businesses network as well as providing some great entertainment. There is even a rumour that Freddy Mercury will be making a guest appearance!”
The Dumbarton Loves Local Business Club is also supported by a range of partners including: You’ll Love Our Home Bakes, The Community Advertiser, Lomond Radio, RBS, Highland Reserve Forces & Cadets Association, Business Gateway, Working4You & DYW West.
