Ahoy Matey! – Swashbuckling weekend at PS Maid of the Loch
Loch Lomond Steamship Company and Wild Highlands Coffee are hosting a special In Steam Pirate themed weekend next month and urge everyone to get involved.
The family fun packed weekend will commence between 11am and 4pm on both Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th of August at PS Maid of the Loch slipway and pier, Balloch.
Are you ready to walk the plank? Or hunt those shark infested waters for pirate gold? There is a prize for the best pirate outfit as well as other buccaneer themed crafts , storytelling and a Treasure Hunt.
Maid of the Loch volunteers and skeleton crew have been busy making interactives and games for the forthcoming event which they hope all visitors both locally and from further afield will enjoy.
Children's tickets cost £6 only which include access to activities. Adults go free.
Wild Highlands Pier Café will also be open and serving themed drinks and cupcakes.

Charli Summers, Programme Manager says “ We are excited to host the museum event and welcome all pirates and landlubbers on board. It will hopefully be one of the most popular events of the year. The enthusiasm of the volunteers creating the interactives and the craft templates is infectious. Arrrr.”
Why Join the Chamber
Chamber membership can save you hundreds or more each year for just a few pence a day. Have a look at some of the benefits of being a chamber member.
I would highly recommend chamber membership to any Dunbartonshire business. The chamber works hard to make connections and generate profile for its members and SHBT have enjoyed a number of benefits over the years.
